This portal has been brought in place to streamline the process of property registration. In addition, this land records portal is currently working only for agricultural lands.

Moreover, to ease the property registration procedure for the Telangana people, the state government launched the Portal in late October 2020. While the entire state was battling the COVID-19 pandemic, the government brought the property registration procedure online to keep the revenues flowing freely. This portal tends to aim to be a one-stop destination for land record search, land mutation, and other land-related solutions. However, as discussed earlier, the land records portal solutions are currently present only for agricultural land.

The government launched the DILRMP or Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme, aiming to develop an adequate Integrated Land Information Management System (ILIMS). On the other hand, the government of Telangana launched the Dharani portal to offer seamless services for Telangana citizens about property registration and land administration online. Using this portal, citizens living in Hyderabad and various other cities can access their land records at their fingertips without visiting any government office physically.

  • Providing an information source for all data on land records.
  • Integration of applications of multiple departments, automation of workflow, and adoption of innovative technology.
  • Giving a single platform for updating and maintaining textual records, managing land records, settlement operations, surveys, maps, and registration of immovable property.
  • Automatic activation for mutation once you complete the registration or on the request by the department concerned or the citizens
  • Providing land transactional information sources like selling, purchase, mortgage, etc., notifying the stakeholders.
  • Allowing the update of textual data through GIS tools. 

What are the services available on Dharani Portal? 

The Dharani site is one of the integrated land records systems in Telangana, providing several services for its citizens. The Dharani website can also be accessed in Telugu and English languages. It does not end here. The property owners can also go through the land-related information or land records. Having said that, the portal aims to offer various revenue and registration solutions for the property buyers and owners of agricultural land in Telangana. 

How to view land records?

For you to search TS land records on the Dharani Portal, follow these steps:

Step 1: First, visit the Dharani portal. This is the link – https://dharani.telangana.gov.in/. Once done, click on the ‘Land Details Search’ option. 

Step 2: Now, you’ll be redirected to a different page on the land records portal. This is where you can tap on the search land option and enter your passbook number or survey number.

Step 3: It’s time for you to enter the requisite details, like Mandal, district, village, etc. 

How to view the cadastral map on Dharani?

To check the Dharani land map, you must visit the Dharani Telangana portal to check the Dharani land map. While you’re on the homepage of the official government website, click on the option to check cadastral maps.

The next step is to enter details like division, district, village, and Mandal to view the map.

How to apply for a lease on the Dharani Telangana Portal?

To access this option, consider clicking on the ‘application for lease’ while on the portal’s home page. Once done, it’s time to click on ‘click here to continue.’

  • The 1st step is to submit your password, mobile number, and captcha code.
  • The 2nd step is to click on the ‘get OTP’ option. Once you have the OTP, click on the submit button.
  • The 3rd step is to complete the form for your lease application and click on the submit option. 

How to apply for a GPA?

If you’re wondering what GPA is, it’s the General Power of Attorney (GPA) required to represent you as the designated individual in property transactions and other property-related matters. This portal allows you to apply and register as a GPA for agricultural land. 

How to apply?

In order to apply for GPA for agricultural lands, users need to click on ‘application for GPA’ on the home page. Post that, click on the link ‘continue.’ Once done, you must complete the OTP verification process. You will be redirected to the page of the application for lease options. Before continuing to submit, you must fill in all the required details.

Users must click on the relevant link on the portal’s home page. Moreover, one must click on the link to continue and conclude the OTP verification step. After clicking on submit, you’ll come across the application registration page.
