Location

Situated just off Interstate 5 in the Anaheim area, Wet n’ Wild California water park has been close for over five years. Originally opene on March 12, 1997 by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). It is one of two AEG water parks within California—the other being The Great Wolf Lodge.

AEG, one of the largest sports and entertainment companies in the world, was founded by Roy Anschutz and his daughter Joan Anschutz-Rodgers. It primarily manages venues as part of six sizable business segments: tickets, sponsorship sales, and marketing services; venue management; television/production; music development; and merchandise/tours.

When Will It Open?

It was revealed a few years ago that the renowned California water park would reopen on July 10, 2022.The original plans were to open earlier but according to a statement made by company spokesperson Rick Friedrich. How Much Will Tickets Cost?

As with all attractions, pricing will depend on a variety of factors such as when you go, what you plan to do while there, and how old you are. For example, if you’re a single adult aged 10 or older during peak season who plans to go on at least two water slides and one dry slide, then tickets will cost $39.99 with any other entrance or upgrade fees include (assuming there is no promotion currently in effect).

Logistics

Wet ‘n’ Wild close in 2008 and reopen for a brief spell in 2013 before it shutter again. The company has been quiet about its plans for the popular water park. But it appears to be set on a 2022 reopening date. To tide fans over, many have venture out to sample some of the attractions at other water parks.
