The Honor 50 is a well-rounded phone; it has an impressive screen, front-facing camera, and battery life, and we encountered no significant problems when using it. We had trouble identifying a niche in which the device excelled, but the mid-range phone market is crowded.

• I was a little disappointed by the quality of the pictures it captured because I had never used a phone with a main camera with such a high resolution. It doesn’t matter if you have to charge it during the day. Honor claims that its 66W Supercharge technology can charge the battery to 70% in just 20 minutes if you use the included charger.
