What Are the Classification of Contemporary Art?

There has been much discussion, in recent weeks, concerning the classification of contemporary art. Many articles have been written, with differing opinions offered, all offering a variety of different classifications. Some say that art cannot be classified and that only certain types can be known as ‘relevant. Others argue that art must be re-classified, be placed in a category, and placed in a museum.
