Why Wild Adventure Waterpark is the Best in California

If you love waterparks, there’s no better choice than Wild Adventure Waterpark in California! Whether you want to go with the whole family or just some friends, you’ll find everything you need and then some at this fantastic location. From their massive slide collection to their on-site entertainment options, everyone who visits Wild Adventure leaves more than happy. If you don’t believe us, consider why Wild Adventure may be the best waterpark in California and maybe even the country!

How Big Is it?

At 100 acres, Wild Adventure waterpark boasts some of the most extreme slides around. With 4 different water attractions, you will never run out of things to do! Just a few of these attractions include The Tail Twister, with an 85-foot drop at speeds up to 60 mph for even more adrenaline-fueled fun, Hurricane Bay wave pool featuring back-to-back waves every 1/2 hour, and so much more. With a mix of indoor and outdoor attractions, you will have a rough time no matter your weather conditions! I highly recommend this attraction if you’re looking for a truly adventurous way to spend your day.

Where does it compare?

Wild Adventure Waterpark contains six amazing water rides for children, teens, and adults. There are kiddie pools for the little ones, free parking, and all the best rides at a state or county park. The park also has food and drink stands, so it’s easy to grab a snack or lunch. Plus, for those not ready to leave, there are cool tree houses that you can play on once you get tired of your favorite ride! All of this, combined with an abundance of lifeguards, make this one of the safest places to go when summer arrives.

What makes it unique?

It’s also one of the largest water parks in America, with acres and acres of water slides, beach zones, wildlife-themed areas, and other attractions. One thing that sets it apart from other large water parks is that there are more features for kids who aren’t quite at an age where they can go on everything without assistance. For example, some slides allow children to ride along or shoot a fishing line down into pools while sitting on their parent or caretaker’s lap. That way, a little kid doesn’t have to slide alone and can share what might be their first big thrill with a loved one.

How do you get there?

*The entrance to the park can be found off Highway 8 in Vallejo. The address is 31 Jersey Street. *From San Francisco: Take I-80 Eastbound to I-580 Eastbound and then to Hwy 4 North. *On Hwy 4 North, take a right onto Rio Vista Blvd/Green Valley Road and go straight through until you see Arena Blvd/Vallejo Boulevard. Take a left turn on Arena Blvd/Vallejo Boulevard and drive until you reach Jersey Street.

When is it open?

Wild Adventures closes its lanes on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. But don’t worry, if you don’t have those days off or are on a tight schedule and need to get your water sliding to fill before the weekends, they are open Thursdays-Sundays 12:00 PM-8:00 PM every week. If you want to come just for an hour, we suggest coming right when they open at noon to avoid big crowds that come later. We also recommend wearing proper swimwear since it can be tough to put on pants when everything’s hot and humid outside after being in the sun all day. The gates usually close for rides about 30 minutes before closing time, so ensure you get what you came for within that time frame!

How much does it cost?

Wild Adventure Waterpark is a great value. For less than $50 a day, visitors can spend all day playing on waterslides and having fun in the sun. Considering it’s open every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day, families have plenty of time to enjoy this excellent water park.

Wild Adventure is also much smaller than other water parks, so visitors don’t need to fight for space on busy weekends. Families will love being able to visit without long lines and never worry about spending all day waiting for their turn on a slide or play area.
