The dose depends on the proportion of the area that needs to be cultivated. For example, 1 – 10 gallons of the 3% humic acid in 10% water solution per acre. By applying this solution through drip irrigation, the base of the soil improves, allowing it to have better plant life and carry water to boost crop production. 
  • ï‚·Granular Form – Humic acid is available in liquid and powdered fine Form. In Liquid Form, the acid is often applied in a solution. The powder can be used directly on the soil. The amount of acid powder that can be used will depend on the size of the space you’re covering.

Sandy soils’ molecules are far apart, which explains their loose texture. This makes the ground unable to hold moisture for long. The concave surface also means that the soil cannot have nutrients for plants to absorb. Also, plant roots cannot hold onto loose soil as effectively because of the open texture. Adding humic acid increases sandy soils’ ability to retain water and nutrients. Because of the improved texture and moisture retention, you don’t have to water your plants regularly.
