Learning These Gestures Can Make Your Exploration In Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Much Easier! – How To Get & Usage

by Zain Ali

Gestures are non-verbal communication in Elden Ring that allows you to interact with other players or NPCs, most often to express emotions or provide directions during exploration.

Some gestures influence your gameplay, such as using Erudition gesture in Fringe Converted Tower, to dispel the magic spells that block your access to the tower.

In Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, five new gestures were added, two of which have a certain effect on gameplay. If you want to explore Shadow of the Erdtree more easily, then collect these Elden Ring DLC Items introduced in this guide!

Ring Of Miquella Gesture

If you pre-ordered the DLC before it was released, you can get Ring of Miquella gesture after you download and launch the game. If you haven’t pre-ordered, don’t worry. You can find a player who has pre-ordered the DLC and defeat a boss in Shadow of the Erdtree with him to get it. This way you both get Ring of Miquella gesture and plenty of Elden Ring Runes as rewards.

In addition to finding your friends, you can also complete a co-op session with a random stranger, and you will eventually get Ring of Miquella gesture. But it should be noted that this stranger also needs to pre-order the DLC first.

In addition, if your friend or stranger has already got this gesture, then you will not get any Elden Ring Runes and rewards if you cooperate with him.

May The Best One Win Gesture

This gesture can be found near Highroad Cross Site of Grace, but getting there is difficult. You can reach it in two ways:

  • Head to Ensis Castle and defeat Twin Moon Knight Lelana to complete this legendary dungeon. Once you exit the dungeon, you’ll find Highroad Cross Site of Grace.
  • If you want to skip Ensis Castle, you can use an alternate route to Reprimand Fort, then go through Moose Ruins to discover Highroad Cross Site of Grace.

Once you reach Highroad Cross Site of Grace, you can find May The Best One Win Gesture on the ground near Hornsent and Needle Knight Leda. In addition to this, you will also get an Elden Ring Item called Monk’s Missive, which provides some vague details on where this gesture is used, and the rest requires your exploration.

O Mother Gesture

O Mother Gesture is a gameplay-significant gesture in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, as it unlocks a path to a secret area mid-game. The gesture is located near a statue of Marika in Bonny Village, and can be found midway through the search for May The Best One Win Gesture, as it is at the end of a fork to the south in Highroad Cross Site of Grace.

Once you reach the ruins, head east and find a cave-in that will take you underground. You will then need to descend carefully to the bottom of the ruins and find a tunnel to the southeast. Following this tunnel, you will see a ladder that you can climb up to Bonny Village.

Once you see Bonny Village Site of Grace, head northeast across the broken bridge and you will find O Mother Gesture next to a headless statue of Marika.

If you want to use it to open secret areas in this expansion, you need to head over Shadow Keep Back Gate Site of Grace with O Mother Gesture and perform the gesture.

Two Fingers Gesture

To find Two Fingers Gesture, you need to reach Hinterlands first. However, Hinterlands is not shown on the map, so you need O Mother Gesture, we just mentioned, to unlock some secret areas and Elden Ring Weapons.

After entering Hinterlands, you still need to find Hinterlands Site of Grace first, and walk east until you enter Finger Ruins of Dheo. After passing Fingercreepers, remember to turn north and ride all the way to the end of the cliff.

Here you will find a hornsent corpse doing Two Fingers gesture. At this time, you need to go up and interact with it, and eventually you will get your own Two Fingers Gesture. Your pointer in Finger Ruins may be a little malfunctioning, so be sure to reach the designated location in the above way.

Let Us Go Together Gesture

When fighting the final boss of the DLC, it will grab you and cast a spell on you. If this happens twice during the battle, you will fail and die. But don’t lose heart. When you respawn at Site of Grace, you will find that you have obtained Let Us Go Together Gesture.

If you are very strong and defeat the boss without dying, don’t worry, you can return to the arena just now after the battle, and you will see Let Us Go Together Gesture waiting for you on the ground.

Do you have all of these gestures in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC? If not, open the game and explore!
